MEET THE TEAM

Harry is an experienced sportsman and coach. He has experience of managing a sports coaching company before deciding to set up Your Sports Education with Lindsay in 2016. Harry is a level 2 cricket coach, level 2 gymnastics coach, level 2 multi-skills coach, level 1 football coach,  as well as holding other coaching qualifications. Alongside his coaching career Harry has been heavily involved in the delivery of the National Citizen Service within Hampshire and across the South East. A programme designed to develop young adults and help the local community. 

Harry has played a lot of football and cricket over the years before recently retiring to the golf course. Harry has played football for local sides AFC Totton, Alresford Town FC and more recently was the Romsey Town captain for a number of seasons. He continues to play cricket at Wellow Cricket club.

Lindsay specialises in gymnastics with a background that spans International to grassroots levels with a focus on curricular gymnastics which is supported by her teaching resource Complete Guide to Primary Gymnastics (Human Kinetics, 2011). Since retiring from competing Lindsay set up her own Gymnastics club (Maple Gymnastics) which she ran until January 2022.

Lindsay has also been teaching in schools since 2003 working closely with teachers to improve the teaching and learning of gymnastics. Lindsay also has a keen interest in cricket and recently worked for Hampshire Cricket Board overseeing the Chance to Shine initiative in secondary schools.

Alongside her passion for sports Lindsay also has a keen interest in healthy lifestyles and delivers Healthy and Active workshops in primary schools supporting healthy eating and exploring the benefits of exercise on developing a healthy heart and strong bones and muscles.

Alice is daughter of Lindsay and Sister of Harry. Alice runs the holiday club at Romsey Primary throughout the school holidays as she is a member of the school staff during term time. 

​

Alice loves her sport and competed for her gymnastics club when growing up. She now runs a gymnastics club on Saturday mornings at Romsey Primary school with Lindsay. 

​

Alice is a qualified gymnastics coach, has her level 2 multi-skills plus her cheerleading and trampolining qualifications. 

Harry is one of full time coaches, he leads on the deliver of PE, lunch clubs and ASC’s with solo delivery for the past 2 years. He has also delivered the Golden Mile product in various schools. 

Additionally, he has also achieved a Level 3 Community Sport and Health Officer apprenticeship which offers experience in organising community sports opportunities and working with different stakeholders including NGBs, local clubs and school.

Harry is a keen sportsman himself and spends his weekend competing in triathlons and marathons.

Olly Jouan

Harriet is a key member of our holiday club team. Harriet is a full time year R teacher at Wildground Infant School however she works at the holiday club in Romsey during the holidays. 

​

Harriet's behaviour management skills and ideas help make our holiday club so successful. Harriet is usually running the red or blue group during the holidays clubs.
